Any ideas on when this miniseries will ever come to DVD?

I'm looking for it as a gift.

It had a pretty decent VHS release, impressive for the time when it was released. Hallmark currently owns the Television rights, i don't know how that would affect a possible DVD release. Amazon and B&N have the Studio listed as Warner Studios. Which is Warner Home Video.

They've been excellent about releasing TV series to DVD. So i'm optimistic this will see DVD someday.

I'm waiting for this one as well. Actually it was the sole reason I stumbled upon dvdtalk.com.

Yet, I'm still here.

Looks like Book I is coming before the end of the year. Book II may also be out before the end of the year or early next year.

This is great news. I have been waiting for this for years. I can already hear the theme and see the hours spent rewatching this miniseries.

That "Book II News" article also has news about Book III (Heaven & Hell) as well!

All I really know is that they're in production. Does the studio plan to release all 3 of them simultaneously? I dunno. But at least they're being worked on!

III was pretty bad. I'll definitely get I & II.
