No word as to whether the DVD will include a field sequential 3-D version, but it SHOULD!

Being from the UK i'm not too familiar with this other than knowing it is some 3-D IMAX feature by James Cameron concerning the Titanic.

In the knowledge that it is a 3-D IMAX presentation can you really see this translating well onto DVD?

It's less than an hour long so it might be costly for such a short movie. It would be cool, though. If the price was right, I'd get it.

I don't know why it wouldn't come to DVD. Most Imax features these days do. Its still playing at Imax so don't look for an announcement any time soon.

I'll be the desenting voice here. I saw it. It was OK and all but I was underwhelmed (perhaps due to raised expectations). I actually think the spots of the wreckage in Titanic are a little better. Nothing seemed new.

The 3D effect was not as pronounced and did not add as much impact as I thought it would so it wouldn't lose much if it's 2D on DVD. What would probably be tougher is that some of the film has multiple inset video windows that would be mighty small on a TV screen.

I would not buy it but that is, of course, a personal decision each person should make based on their own tastes.

I would probably get it if it were in 3-D, otherwise I wouldn't.
