FINALLY!!
And yes, extras would have been nice, but I am not surprised by the lack of them, considering the fact that the first season doesn't have any either.

Great news but the MSRP is too high for 3 discs. If the 4-disc S1 retails for $80, then the 3-disc S2 should be $60.... There I go being logical again! Of course I'll get it but it seems like gouging to me.

Since there are 3 DVD-18's, I guess we will get:
Disc 1 : 3 3
Disc 2 : 3 3
Disc 3 : 3 2

Let's be optimistic and assume there will be supplemental material with this release. Commentary tracks, interviews, etc. Then it won't hurt so bad to shell out the $$$.
But STILL -- It's nearly 17 hours of viewing, right? (Okay, without comercials, it's still 10 hours of viewing
)

Oh, and BTW, this was a 60's TV show, before the time when commercials became the dominant life form, so the per-episode run time was betwen 51 and 52 minutes. So, we will actually be getting about 14 1/2 hours of pure sci fi entertainment
.

was meant to convey. I actually saw these episodes first time out in my far distant youth. And yes, there were FAR fewer commercials than today.Sorry to hear there will be no extras, though. (sigh) - But am VERY anxious
to get my hands on the set, nonetheless! Happy happy. I had thought the poor sales for set 1 convinced them NOT to release this set at all... (I HAVE to stop babbling... sorry)
