T2: EE- Video problem?

Ok, so I just got finished watching T2: EE. I have to say I'm slightly disappointed. During almost every scene that was not dark, there was an illuminated line where the video meets the top black bar. The bottom seam looks fine, yet the top one has a wierd lighted bar across it. The best way to describe it is that it looks as if someone is shining a light behind the video and it's sneaking through the top seam. Once I noticed it, it became very anoying. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, I noticed that too. I don't know what it is.

I noticed a very similar problem on the left side of Lethal Weapon (from the box set) on the widescreen side. Strange.

Normally, I would say it sounds like that the upper matte might be too high, exposing the top edge of the film frame, but T2 was shot super 35 right? So that doesn't sound right in this case.

A DVD that does have this problem for the above reason is ADVs Destroy All Monsters. The upper matte is too high, and everytime there is a scene change, there's a brief flash of light at the top. Very annoying.
