Anyone else have any problem with Die Another Day?

Picked up Die Another Day today and several times while watching it the screen froze for a few seconds, stuttered and then continued. I'm used to a slight (1-2 sec) freeze during some layer changes, but 3 -4 times this happened. I have a Panasonic RV-32 player.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I havent had any problems with other DVDs.

I assume you means besides the script

Seriously though I was having similar problems but since I watched it on my computer I just wrote it off to that since it'll happen no matter what DVD I put in. One did strike me as being unusual though (IIRC it was when Halle and Pierce were first talking at the sea side bar). I backed it up a bit and reran it but since it played ok I just thought i was the computer again...

That's one of the scenes that did that for me as well.....hmmm. I may have to try re-watching it and see if it does it again...

I had no problems at all, however, off-topic, W/S side of Windtalkers wouldn't play the last half of chapter 30 and the first half of chapter 31. (Had to, ick, watch the F/S side, glad it was the end of the movie.)

I had about 4 or 5 skips while watching it today on my Cyberhome CH-500. Curious to see what everyone else is experiencing.

I have a Panasonic RP62 and I didn't have any stopping problems at all. But I did have another weird problem. Near the end of the movie when Bond and Jinx are in the helicopter flying away, after the plane explodes, the screen picture got kinda blurry. It was like a double ghosting image. I thought my dvd player broke or something so I played the last few chapters back. These scenes looked just fine, but when I played the blurry scene again it was still messed up. Then the sound stuttered a bit and the picture went back to normal right when Bond is kissing Money Penny. Anyone else have this prob?

Sat down tonight and watch my copy and I too had problems with the disc. I notice a few times video glitches popping up, like small spots the laser isn't reading and getting a lot of cubic glitches. Yet the one that finally hit home for me is a audio glitch which cut out completely. It was during the scene in Iceland where the character Graves begins to speak to his guests about his latest project when all of a sudden I hear a loud "POP" in the rear speakers and no audio. My first reaction was my receiver blew but when I fast forward the disc a bit, the audio came back on. Looks like I'll have to make another trip back to BB. My only concern is will the rest of their inventory be the same.

For all the people who are having trouble with this disc, try going to the menu select Q-Branch and select off even if it is off. I had the same problem, it kept wanting to play the behind the scenes footage and it got really annoying. The parts I remember off hand was the Sword fight and the Bar scene. Once I went back the the menu and selected off even though it was off, the rest of the disc played fine.

Hey....here's an idea. Don't like the movie? Wait till a thread pops up in movie talk and b&#@% about it there. I know you only meant it as a joke but some a-hole has to do that in about 1/2 the threads that show up in this forum. I remember back years ago when there were far less people here and this kind of crap didn't happen. Only wish those types would find another forum.

Okay....I feel better.

I've watched the move 2 times so far and no problems at all. I have a Sony DVP-C650D.

I have a Panasonic HT67 and have had no problems.

The only disk I have had problems with was Dinosaur, I would not let me skip chapters.

Other than that, the player has been perfect.
