trouble finding the LED ZEPPELIN dvd?

Damn its a pain in the ass to find this thing. I've been to target 3 times since i have a rain check there for 15.99. Either people can't get enough of zeppelin or they come unit by unit. I'll be so pissed if my rain check expires before I get my hands on a copy. Circut city was out also, but they were expecting TEN tommorw. TEN?! What the hell is up with that? Can't they at least get 30 or so? There was at least 30 copies of GOODBURGER and THE RECRUIT lying around, why not this? plus i found out today that CC does not do price matches with rain checks. very sad.

Went to boarders today to buy catcher in rye and guess what i found. the led zeppelin dvd. too frickin bad it was nearly 30 bucks!

ahhhhhhh

Hey by the way, thank you so much to whoever posted about mysony.com and the deal with black hawk down. Can't belive I got the thing for 17 bucks! God I love this board.

Don't go anywhere. I had the toughest time finding this thing (wanted to get the DVD and CD sets) and was looking to get the two of them for $30.00 as was advertised by Circuit City.

It was at this time that I learned how useful the telephone is. Just call every place near you every day. If they get a new stock in then head over there and pick yourself up a copy. Running there everyday serves no purpose other than getting yourself angry.

I finally got mine when the local CC got a shipment of 8 in. (It seems everyones really dropped the ball on this one...)

But let me tell you. This thing is ABSOLUTELY worth it! A FANTASTIC set!

I pre-ordered it from DDD a week before it came out, and haven't gotten my copy yet... kinda bothers me since I'm pretty sure I could have picked it up from my Best Buy on release day. I haven't wanted a dvd this bad for quite a while after reading the various reviews

Same here, what's the deal with the delay? I pre-ordered Throne of Blood, Quai des Orferves and Led Zep together. I've received both criterions, but no led.

I had this thing on preorder since March, and I was surprised when amazon got it to me two days after the release date. For those of you still looking for it, believe me - it will be worth the wait.

I was kind of disappointed in the new CD, though. No liner notes, no photos, the encores from LA didn't make it on the disc. However, I encourage everyone to buy it so Jimmy will hopefully open up the vault and toss out a few more shows - Europe '73!

all fluff in my eyes.. the recording and music is what matters..the recording is exceptional (30 year old performance for crying out loud)and the performances are excellent (compare this to the other Live Zep). For 15 bucks for a 3 cd set I could care less about books, liner notes, etc...

I looked all through the DVD section at Target for this one last week, and came up empty. Finally discovered a slew of them in the CD section.

I got it no problem beause I got to to Circuit City 10 AM that Tuesday morning it came out. It seems like if somebody is having a really good sale and if you don't go there that day it comes out, you're not going ot get it. I'm on my way to Target right now to get T2 for $14.99.

Thirty bucks? We have this at my Borders for $24. Even though I work there, I got mine at Wal*Mart who price matched Circuit City.

It's just trickling in everywhere. I stopped by Target on Tuesday and Thursday, they were out both times. My wife found just one copy there on Saturday and picked it up for me. The only upside to stopping in twice w/o finding the DVD is that the rainchecks say that they are good for the same percentage off on any similar item from the same department.

I couldn't agree more and I encourage everyone to take the plunge and pick up this set. The biggest kick I got from the notes on this set is that the Drone was listed as being 'written' by Page/Jones.

I didn't think the demand would have been this high for it, so I waited too late to pick this up at Best Buy for $17.99. None in my area had it so I took a rain check. I then went home and just ordered it from DDD.com for the same price sans Tax (Free Shipping). I should have just done that to begin with.

Best Buy - SOLDOUT
Cuircut City - SOLDOUT
K-Mart - Bingo! Two copies available.

Picked it up yesterday. $24.60 out the door. I hated to pay that price but what the heck. Had to have it.

Wow. The sound is fantastic! Even the menus are cool. My favorite DVD so far this year.
