Wild At Heart
Hi,
It's been a looooooong time since i've been in here,so i hope this subject hasn't been broached lately, and if so,then i apologize in advance.I was wondering if anyone had any info on a release date for Wild at Heart by David Lynch. It seems that i saw where this was being worked on by MGM and planned for release later this year or next.I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.Thanks,Peace Out................

From dugpa.com:
When will Wild at Heart be released on DVD?
MGM has the rights to Wild at Heart. Lynch has completed a brand new transfer for this film and may also be doing a 5.1 remix of the soundtrack. This DVD is set to release in the Fall/Winter of 2003. A new disc was also released on May 12th in the UK. Rumor has it that it was pulled because of issues with the transfer and it will be re-released in the UK in July.

Yeah but isn't the R1 version going to have extra features not available on the R2? Any confirmation or details on the extras? If so, I'm willing to wait a few months. Hell, I've waited years for this already.

However, the main reason to wait for the Reg 1 is that it will feature a Lynch-approved video transfer and 5.1 mix. It doesn't seem likely that the Reg 2 will, especially since it's new release date is a few months before the Reg 1.
Been waiting for this one for absolutely ages, so I'm prepared to wait a bit longer to get the best version out there (Reg 1)
