Space Ghost Coast to Coast DVD in the Works

Great news for all the SG:C2C fans out there, including myself:

These quotes are from a user another forum out on the web (forgot which one):

"If you missed last Sunday's Adult Swim -

They announced that they have re-edited many of the older SG:C2C episodes to 11 mins to better fit into the "Williams Street hour", as they called it. They said that a DVD of SG:C2C is in the works, and that the old longer versions of the re-edited eps would be included on the DVD. Probably.

They also announced that 6 new SG:C2C are currently in production!
"

"George Lowe came to the local anime con in Orlando this weekend. he mentioned that the upcoming Space Ghost Coast to Coast DVD will contain at least the first 10 episodes (the first season) and will have audio commentaries for each episode. Of course, that's all he knows because he was just called in recently to do season 1's commentaries. so there might be more episodes than season one or not. but it'll definitely be at least the first season."

Woo-Hoo!

Don't worry, I'm not a confusatron

As far as I know, it should all be true. I was hoping someone could confirm at least the first part.

I was watching Adult Swin last Sunday, and yes, basically what was said was true. It seemed to be done half-jokingly but the thing went up saying how they would be editing down SGC2C to 15 minutes for Adult Swim and how "they didn't know what they were thinking" making it 30 minutes and how they were "new". But the thing said the full versions would be on the DVD in the fall.

It was actually kinda funny, wasn't expecting the commerical (it was all text on a black screen), but I took it to be serious about the DVDs.

They said something like, "But Craig down in marketing tells us the full versions will be on the DVD this fall"

Cool. I'll be happy if they release SGC2C and Sealab 2021 on DVD.

Funny I was just talking to someone about wanting this last week Just for completion sake I'd like the original Space Ghost series too. Even just one episode of it as an extra would be nice since i used to watch it as a kid.
