Is anyone as disappointed as I am with the lack of reviews for big releases and re-releases? We used to seem them weeks in advance.

The reviewers are all away at "DVD Fantasy Camp."

Which titles were you hoping to see? We've recently put up reviews for "There's Something About Mary" (5 weeks early), "The Animatrix" (2 weeks early), "About Schmidt" (a week early), "The Recruit" (2 weeks early), "The Mothman Prophecies SE" (2 weeks early), "Dead or Alive" (2 weeks early), "Die Another Day" (3 weeks early), "Throne of Blood" (2 weeks early), etc, etc.

Although, DVD Fantasy Camp sounds pretty cool...

I can't speak for DVDTalk's reviewers, but it seems to me that the studios are not sending screeners for all of their releases lately, or at least not as many. I know I never received screeners for several high-profile releases that I requested.

Tue, but it took so long for Catch Me if You, The People Vs Larry Flint SE, Black Hawk Down SE, Terminator Extreme, Sea of Love SE, Superbits. Grant youmost are re-releases,but still.

One time, at DVD Fantasy Camp, we saw an armadillo crap on our Mitsubishi 65" HDTV, and it still looked better than most Fox Lorber releases...

You been peeking at my bio page, Matt? It took me about a month to get all the armadillo dump outta the screen crevices.

I for one am quite happy with the regularity and punctuality of reviews.

Now, if DVD Talk would stop wasting time sending discs to Don Houston to 'review'...
