Here's a couple Song Quotes from Fun & Fancy Free

1 from the opening song

Come Along Lend An Ear, See It For Yourself
Meet A Guy Who's Got A Song, Trouble's On The Shelf

1 from Jiminy Cricket's Song

I'm A Happy Go Lucky Fellow, Full Of Fun & Fancy Free
You Can Make The Whole World Seem Mellow, If You Take It In Your Stride

Maby someone have asked this question before .. but any plans on making disney sequal covers? like jungle book 2, and so on..

KBDVD 08-29-03 09:30 PM

Michael,

Do you plan to do revised versions of Alice In Wonderland, Lilo & Stitch, Pocahontas that will include all of the new 2 disc features when these Special Editions are released in January 2004?

Best Regards,
KBDVD

ps: I'm still hoping that one of your Hercules versions will eventually sport the feature list & spine number of the original Disney "Limited Edition" release.

Hi. I'd love to download a few of these excellent covers, such as the LION KING SE, but this link hasn't worked for the last day or so:
http://68.80.89.117/cgi-bin/chrislist.exe?
Does anyone know if this site is gone for good?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I will update for new editions. And I will finish the set. Since getting my new job, I am on a computer most of the day and haven't felt like getting on it when I get home. But rest assured, I will get some things done in the near future.

I will submit both Lion King covers and Sleeping Beauty to dvdca when it is time appropriate. Just another month. That is ChrisK's site. He was hosting them, but like me he has been MIA since getting a new job as well. ;)

That's fine, thanks.

BTW, congrats on the new job!

JJE-187 09-02-03 11:42 PM

Hey MC, you can upload Sleeping Beauty any day. It is 1 week until it's release date. Also were you able to use either of the song qoutes I posted for Fun And Fancy Free?

Michael Corvin 09-03-03 07:51 PM

JJE, well I finally decided to get off my NYPD Blue/ER/24 DVD watching marathon to upload Sleeping Beauty and F&FF. And the uploads are somewhat suspended.

Now that we're caught up on pending uploads, the FTP will be reopened, but with a catch. In order to reduce the massive amount of clutter on the ftp, only users who the staff has determined are submitting consistently good uploads will have access to the ftp. These preferred uploaders will alos get their submissions processed a bit more quickly since the staff will not have to scrutinize their submissions.

If you're in the preferred uploder group, the option for FTP submission will be available on the cover submission form, along with the new login information. Everyone else will be reuqired to have their covers hosted on their own webspace. The staff is currently adding people to the preferred uploaders group, so please don't fret if you're not one yet.
Right now it seems as though I am not preferred.

Randy810 09-03-03 08:48 PM

Unbelievable. In my opinion you are one of the best uploaders. Must be an oversight.

Michael Corvin 09-03-03 09:48 PM

Already figured out the problem. I post under my real name there. When they were making the aproval list they were looking for Michael Corvin. MC wasn't on there.

Scaramanga 09-11-03 10:09 AM

I made an Atlantis II (Milo's Return) cover to match Michael's other Disney covers, here's the result:

*picture removed*

The cover was completely made from scratch, so no elements have been used from Chris' cover at all, except for the design of course.

I drew the Walt Disney logo on the front and Audrey on the back myself as no high res source material was found to use for it

Here's the legal blurb on the bottom of the back:

I plan on doing covers for all the non classics to make em match Michael's great covers .... this one is completely finished.

Maybe a cover for a 2-disc or 3-disc case containing Atlantis and Atlantis - Milo's Return or Atlantis CE and Atlantis - Milo's Return would be a good idea too ?

Check this thread now for updates on the project

I might do that, but I wanna know what Michael thinks of them first ...

Michael Corvin 09-12-03 06:38 AM

Look's good to me. Just a color change to distinguish them from the classics.

Animated Features is a nice change.

Michael Corvin 09-27-03 07:39 AM

Just submitted both of my Lion King covers. The animated classics style and the one using the IMAX movie poster.

Bobban 09-27-03 09:37 AM

sweet ;)

JJE-187 09-27-03 04:54 PM

Micheal/Chris are you gonna do the 3 unreleased on DVD covers? I have 2 (Bambi & Aladdin) of them & could get the 3rd (Cinderella)

Michael Corvin 09-28-03 08:17 AM

Yes. Actually someone emailed me via dvdca said they would trade me the three movies for a disc of all my covers in hi res .tif format.

The thing is I still don't have the artwork for Aladdin, and the one for Bambi is a lower quality image. But yes I am going to do them.

Bobban 09-28-03 10:14 AM

mm.. wish they would add lion king soon ;)

JJE-187 09-28-03 05:22 PM

There was a really cool Aladdin cover on dvdca. It was a scan of the LaserDisc. if you know any admins on dvdca they could get it for you. The cover is still there, it's just hidden. Same thing for Bambi & Song Of The South, the covers are still there, just hidden. If you can't find anyone I think I can get a friend of mine to get them.

Bobban, you're probally gonna have to wait until tuesday for The Lion King. It's release date is 10-7 & covers can only be uploaded 1 week befor the release date.
