Men in Black Superbit

I have this crazy idea and wanted to run it past everyone. I currently have the deluxe 2-disc edition of Men in Black. The one that came out right before the MIB 2. I was thinking of buying MIB superbit and putting that disc in for disc 1 of the MIB-Deluxe and then putting the Superbit cover on it. That way I have the superbit movie and the 2nd disc of extras. You can do this with XXX as well I guess. Then giving the original MIB disc to a friend or something.

Would this be cool to do or will the DVD police have me arrested on sight?

Nothing wrong at all with making your own Superbit Deluxe edition.

That's a neat idea. *I* personally wouldn't do it, but I do like the idea.

Yeah maybe, I'm personally fine with the quality of my Deluxe Edition. But I dont know how much better the Superbit is. If the super-bit still has the commentaries (if you care about them), and your not paying too much for it, sure go for it. You could probobally let your friend fork over some ca$h for the disc as well. 5-10$ seems reasonable. Just don't go telling everybody about it and you should be fine.

You may run into a problem if and when you decide to sell it (say when you want to upgrade to HD-DVD years down the road - I always think about stuff like this - some people want the original of everything).
