Miracle Mile - P&S or open matte?

I know this info could be hard to come by, but if anyone knows, could they tell me? Hopefully it's open matte so I can zoom it on my 16:9 TV.

hopefully it is open matte.

I love this picture. Probably my favorite film of 1989.

MIRACLE MILE was shot full-frame to be matted at 1.85 so it's an open matte presentation. Still sucks that it isn't in OAR, mind you, but better than a P/S 'scope presentation anyday.

The LD has one scene that's obviously cropped- there's a scene with a banner in the background saying "ELP RESTORE THE PAN PACIF".
