WWE releases "From the Vault: Shawn Michaels" on 6/24 a two disc set compilation on the career of Michaels.

Matches scheduled to appear in their entirety on the DVD according to promotional material for Silvervision video (the WWE video distributor in Great Britain) are:

*AWA Tag Team Championship (Midnight Rockers vs. Buddy Rose and Doug Somers)

*Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon Ladder Match at WrestleMania X

*Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart Marathon Match at WrestleMania XII

*Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel No Hold Barred Match at In Your House: Good Friends, Better Enemies

*Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind at In Your House: Mind Games

*Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker Hell in the Cell at Bad Blood

*Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H Streetfight at Summerslam 2002

The DVD will feature three hours of bonus footage including a commentary track by Michaels and Kevin Nash (aka Diesel) on their No Holds Barred Match.

Although some of the matches are available elsewhere, that's a pretty damn good collection. It would've been nice to see the Summerslam '96 match with Vader, the Raw '93 match with Jannetty, or the first IC Title win from Davey Boy Smith back in '92 but these are definately his career highlights.

7 matches seems a little light for a 2 disc set.

One of them is an hour long iron man match (Bret Hart).

Nice collection but IMO could have been a lot better. No one gets DVDs right these days :/ For instance no Michaels vs Razor II, no Michaels vs StoneCold with Tyson, only one tag match, and lots more faults.

Also it will be interesting to see if R2 blurs out the logos!!!

I was actually at that show here in Philadelphia. It was good, but the finish sucked!

Nice, I was actually looking for the match list last night. The only place that I've seen it pre-ordered at is Amazon. No Best Buy, DDD or DVD Empire.

All **** matches IMO and those 4 make the dvd a must buy.

Very happy with that list although I would have like to have one of his matches with Psycho sid on the disc and maybe the royal rumble where he was the first man in and won.

I'll still be buying this and who knows if it sells well maybe we get a second disc. Personally I'm still begging for a box set with Ric Flair's greatest matches and it would take a box set to hold them!

? Is this coming to the US. And will they blur out the logos?

I'm pretty happy with that. About the only two more I could ask for are:

The Bret Hart vs. HBK screwjob full match in an extra on the WWE: Best of Confidential, Vol. 1 DVD...the only reason I bought this was for that match.

So, what, we don't get any rockers matches? And hey, is this "From The Vault" thing gonna be a series? Cause I'd love to see a Bret Hart DVD. And while we're at it, I know there's been rumors that they'll release a big 20-disc Wrestlemania DVD Box for WM 20 next year, but has there been any talk about releasing the old Royal Rumbles? Any hope at all?

What about...

The Montreal screw job on Bret? The countless hours spent with DX (not just the matches because some of his best mic work was done back on those Monday nights)? All his "surprise" returns? Plus so, so much more.

I actually have 6 compolation tape of Shawn's career and they have a s**t load more quality stuff than this upcomming DVD. IMO the WWE needs to seriously rethink this one... I'm not sold on it yet.

P.S. - The Rey Misterio DVD looks good though. Looks like a lot of "home video" stuff which is nice.

I don't think there have been rumors for wrestlemania box set. I just hope there is, I don't think they have hinted to that yet.

Shawn Micheals and Bret Hart never had a ladder match at the Survivor Series. They fought on the '92 Survivor Series in one of Bret Hart's first world title defences , which was a classic, and on the '93 Survivor Series in a survivor series match with the Hart brothers versus Shawn Micheals (substituting for Jerry Lawler) and his knights, which was not.

Shawn and Bret also had ladder matches at least once at a house show. Bret later blammed Shawn and his buddies of stealing the ladder match which was first done in that Calgary league that his father owned.

How can they not have a dx tape out? That's still my favorite wrestling group! I wish they would just re-release the vhs d-x tape like they did the other attitude dvds.

There was a Bret/HBK ladder match on one of the Coliseum videos.

The Iron Man match from WrestleMania was really not all that great, but I can see why it was put on. I would've preferred seeing HBK/Razor II and the Kliq tag match from Action Zone in its place. The other choices are good, though, even if the Mankind match is already on the Foley DVD.

My bad, I thought this was a ladder.

Is Shawn Michaels v Owen Hart for the title on Raw (I think it was a Christmas Raw...) on DVD yet?

I am just glad he is finally getting a dvd set. I grew up watching the Heartbreak kid and he is the only reason i still watch wwe. I cannot wait for this Dvd to come out.
