I was at Wally yesterday & happen to notice that CTS changed the cover art of Anaconda to the "faces" cover that they were using to promote the SE on certain DVDs (they had the trailer on BOA with the same art & a Special Edition banner across the top) So that got me to wondering if CTS decided to scrap the SE & just re-issue the BB release with the new art or are they still planning an SE?

Oh man... I could so lay the biggest Thread Crap on this post, but you know what? Anaconda isn't even worth it.

I believe the snake's agent recently issued a press release stating that he didn't want to demystify the film with bonus features.

I doubt an SE of this will ever come out, but if it does, we actually have someone in mind when we say "Anaconda SE? Who asked for THIS?"

Since the sequel to this is coming out this year, anyone know if an SE will happen? I mean, it's from Sony and you know they love to re-do their dvds. I remember reading on digital bits' rumor mill about an SE.....of course, that was 2 years ago.

I would buy an SE of Anaconda. Maybe when Anacondas comes out on DVD they will redo the first. I love cheesy films like that.

I saw this at the drive-in, as a double feature with "The Fifth Element". Funny thing was, the car battery died at the end of "Element", so I watched Anaconda without sound. Know what? It still sucked ass!

I think your wording is messed up. Anaconda without sound will suck just like watching any other movie without sound unless its a chaplin flick
