How's the Road Warrior DVD?
Wal-mart is starting to carry this one in their new $7.50 bins. I almost bought it but thought they would probably release a new SE version next year with the release of the new movie.
But I am awfully tempted to get this one while I wait....
How is this version? A guy told me a while back that it was edited in places (like the rape scene and a couple others). Is it worth getting to tide me over?

I bought it about a year and half ago for $15 and it was well worth it for me, but then I'm a big fan of the movie. It doesn't have any special features save for the Production Notes and the Theatrical Trailer, but it's Anamorphic Widescreen with a DD5.1 soundtrack, so that makes it bearable. It is somewhat edited I think, but it's only a few second at most during the rape scene and then again during the torture scene, so unless your a sadist you probably won't miss it.

"The UK Warner Bros. PAL video is uncut & longer than the US R rated print; the extra footage (mere seconds) contains graphic torture to the good guys."
