WOW!! People vs. Larry Flynt SE cover
I couldn't believe my eyes when I took the slip cover off the actual DVD case. I'd never expect a cover like this from a major studio like Columbia!! I like it though

who's the female body in the background??..must be one of those "body doubles" the studios hire just like they did for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman

That cover was used just about everywhere (including my native Finland) except the U.S. Don't you just love the irony? I guess if you're the people then we're Larry Flynt.

Nice cover! But I also really liked the original with Woody's mouth taped over by an American flag. It was rather effective. Of course there'd be more 'big head' posts made.
Now we have a 'big pelvis' cover but I won't complain

Nice cover....now have certain stores refused to carry it unless a alternate cover was made?
Since i would prefer that cover than some sanatized garbage some conservative places may get uppity about the morons.
Also it's much better than the original 'censored' so to speak poster. Originally i think this was supposed to be the original poster or something similar, but the MPAA said no..& thus we got the big head, mouth covered by American flag instead.

absolutely agree with the above statement....we need to find out the name of this guy and make sure he gets all of Columbia's future business (as far as covers are concerned)!!

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
I hope the studios read these boards. Maybe we should e-mail them and let them know how much we love the ORIGINAL POSTER ART packaging.
Thank god it's not big floating heads.

I'm thinking that the "ban" wasn't because of the girl in a bikini, but because a arguably utterly vile person was being protrayed as Jesus being crucified.
