Rocky IV IS now anamorphic!

Hey all,

I purchased another copy of Rocky IV tonight and the back cover listed it as Anamorphic, and it IS!
Now if they would just fix part 2.

Isn't it a typo? Do you have a widescreen tv? if you did, and have no black bars, then its anamorphic.

Get the UK Reg 2 Rocky Anthology. They are all anamorphic and it comes in a funky digipak

I have a 55" Mits WS, I am very familiar with anamorphic ws titles, and YES this new version IS anamorphic.

I imported the Austrailian box set and the Japanese version to get Anamorphic WS's of 2 and 4. You must check the back of the disc, there are still some non-anamorphic copies out there, and the aspect is listed wrong.

I just wish I did not pay the 40.00 to import Rocky IV from Japan, now I do not need it.

I can say with 100% certainty that the copy I picked up yesterday at Circuit City IS anamorphic. It says so right on the back of the box. I will try and scan and post a pic if I must. I tried it out, and it is definitely anamorphic. Oh, and the subtitles issue has been corrected as well!

That cover... the look on Stallone's face... where the other guy's head is... I need to get my mind out of the gutter.

Might just pick up IV now, I had been holding off.

Why did you have to post a new thread? You knew about the old thread, you posted that "Interesting, I shall explore more tomorrow, I had only seen ones listed that were NOT anamorphic."

So why not post in the original thread?
