Region 0 Bunuel DVDs, worth $60?
Are these worth $60?
1 - Los Olvidados / Las Hurdes
2 - El / Ensayo de un Crimen (Criminal Live of Archibaldo de la Cruz)
both have subtitles? I'm thinking about buying them, but wanna make sure im not getting scammed and this is a good deal.

Not great transfers, but certainly adequate and you couldn't pry these discs from my hands! I love 'em, particularly "EL", which I think ranks among Bunuel's best from the Mexican period. It's hard to really get "Las Hurdes", though, without understanding the arch "travelogue" narration--you really lose out here, but nonetheless that disc is definitely worth having for "Los Olvidados" alone (which, by the way, includes the alternate ending--fortunately never screened--among the extras).
I thought these were OOP. If you're a Bunuel fan, grab 'em if you can find 'em!!!

Can't help you there, but in my experiance, many, MANY OOP DVDs on e-bay are bootlegs or misrepresented. I have stopped getting OOPs on e-bay because of being burnt in the past.

As I stated above, I bought both recently from MachiavelDVD.com (located in Canada). Both are now out-of-stock there. You might email Marc, the owner, and see if he'll be getting more in soon (he had copies of The Criminal Life of Archibaldo de la Cruz/El as recently as a week ago).
DVDGo used to stock these, but doesn't anymore.
