Not a huge fan of the movie itself, but the the recent Stargate release was very well done, especially at that price.

I'll throw another nod in for the Brazil Criterion set too...with the qualification that I wish it were anamorphic.

Reqiuem for a Dream was pretty well done too.

Same here, although I wish certain ones included more extras. If only they were all done as well "Killer Klowns From Outer Space", although just glad to see them released.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension: Special Edition
The Bond Sets
The Godfather Trilogy

I sure you got the second version because you were happy with the first ...

it may shock you...but like I said, I'm happy with all my discs because they all serve a purpose. the extra title is there because, like I've said so many times, I love having a back-up copy if possible. thats what I think of that copy, no matter how perfect or candy-coated it may or may not be. people love to bitch about dvds, I'm the other way. if I were not happy with my discs...they wouldnt be in my library....hence the comment.

btw, another plug for Midnite Movies and Blue Underground . a dvd does not need to be perfect....just presented with love and/or passion. BU is a prime example.

So true, and yet so sad. I wish they'd get more right. They come soooo close each time, but there is always one factor that screws it up. 20.000 Leagues looks like it may be perfect.
