"Strangers with Candy" : When ?

DVDFile reported that a few Comedy Central titles would be available on DVD in May. "Strangers with Candy" being one of them. But I can't find anything on it anywhere. Does anyone have any information on this?

Also, to the guy who reported a "SWC" movie in the works, what's the scoop on that? And I'm assuming it's to be shown on Comedy Central (?)

Jerri Blank is my hero! Daytripper....my guess is it will be released sometime this summer. I can't wait! I love this show. Amy Sedaris has a book coming out in May.

I read on my Strangers With Candy email group that a first season DVD set is due June 17, with no current plans to release any other season.

WHAT!?? Oh come on!! If this is true, that really ticks me off. I think the funniest episodes were in Season Two and Three. They were all great, don't get me wrong. But don't just tease us with Season One. Grrrrr!

From: behind you!!!
the movie is in the can for now. they were offered the money to do it but got caught up in the red tape surrounding who could do the show and for how much. future projects and such also helped to complicate the matter.

i never heard of the show until reading an interview with her. is the show good? she seemed great in the interview, and i'd definitely check this out with good reviews.
