Freaky Friday on DVD?

This summer the second remake of this movie is showing up in theaters. Is there any word on the original arriving on DVD anytime soon? The VHS has been out of print for some time. Isn't that supposed to be a sign that the DVD is coming out?

IIRC, there was a Disney site that said it'd be released around the time the remake was in theatres..[synergy and all..]

The REAL question is..will it be shown respect like Polyanna, Swiss Family Robinson & 20,000 Leagues..or will it be another Baby: Secret Of the Lost Legend, Gus, Absent Minded Professor..?

I believe it will be more like the former, as Disney's video site says "Hours of extra footage."

Anyway, I'm starting to think that this might not be coming until maybe the DVD release of the remake. After all, if it was coming in July to coincide with the remake's theatrical release, it probably would already be up for pre-order.
