Disapointed w/ Steve McQueen Le Mans DVD

When this airs on Speedvision they have a terrific documentary on the making of the film. Shame on Paramount for not going the extra mile (or even the extra inch) on this title.

Oh well, my boycott of Paramount continues.

A fabulous new 16:9 transfer and 5.1 track from CBS for a fabulous film -- and all for $19.99 SRP?!

I have it on order and can't wait to get it. Extras would have been nice but a new transfer and 5.1 track don't sound bad to me.

that is a bummer, but I still will pick it up. This si there way of insuring the chance for a "SE" release later I guess.

All the CBS stuff I have looked at from this month's releases looks terrific, Martin. Rio Lobo looks damn near brand new, and the 5.1 track is surprisingly good.

Glad to see the CBS titles getting first rate transfers for DVD finally. Good job.
