I've got Intervideo WinDVD on my PC at home. I know how to do screenies, but does anybody know how to do frame by frame? There's the "next" function, but it jumps about 10-15 frames, and I'd love to do single frame advance. Especially for those shots in Fight Club with the single frame flashes of Tyler.

I started this thread, and am totally knocked out by the response.

Much love to all my fellow DVD junkies! Let's keep it going ...

Here's two from the greatest piece of acting I've ever seen, in the greatest moment, from greatest film I've ever seen. Lee J.Cobb, in Twelve Angry Men ... God rest his soul.

Since someone else posted pics from E.T., I thought I'd post my own favorite shots from that Spielberg classic.

Okay so I do not have a DVD drive on my computer, but come on this thread needs some "Top Gun" stills. There are way too many opportunities to list. Thanks.

Top Gun is one of my favourites of all time. I took some stills yesterday but the quality isn't so good.

I was really noticing the horrible edge enhancement on the 1982 version of E.T., too. God, look at that thick blue band around the moon. Horrible, horrible. And the 2002 version isn't much better (although comparing two grabs it looks like the 2002 version was "enhanced" which killed the shot for me).

This is the most fun thread on here in a long time. I love seeing people's favourite shots.

Sure, it's one of the most hated movies of all time, but tell me these 2 captures aren't some of the best:
