Confession time .. I started this thread, but I can't get a PC screen grab to work using Power DVD (must be thick). I grabbed my Nikon digital camera, went downstairs and took a pic of the TV screen.

i just fiddled with power dvd on my lunch hour today. it took a minute to realize that it was working. when you capture it does nothing to indicate that it worked. what i had to do is track down where it was sending the images. the help section on the interface easily walked me through this process and how to change it. this is with version 4.0 i believe.

In PowerDVD right click and choose the "configuration" option. This should bring up a menu that has a 'capture section. By default mine saved the captures to the clip board, but I have since changed it to save it to a file. They are fairly large bmp files. As others have said, you can rresize them in other programs. To make the files, just pause it and press "C".
