Fight Club DVD defective??

Heya,

Just wondering if I got a defective disc or not.

The part where "Jack" leaves Marla's place after checking her for cancer, he shuts the door. At the point when he shuts her door, the movie pauses for a sec. Then SOMETIMES, it gets SLIGHT pixelation.

Anyone else get either a pause, pixelation or both? My disc is brand new, and the DVD player works just fine with other movies.

Thanks!

Actually I got the same problem, except mine refused to play after that point. What I did was return it and it has worked since then. It sounded like a defective disc to me.

I believe that spot in the movie is the layer change but that still doesn't explain the pixelation. Probably a bad disc.

The layer change is at 1:07:33, in chapter 19, according to this site.

Is this out of the Fight Club 2-disc or the one disc set? Just curious if I need to go check mine out...

1 disc.

I tried it on a few other DVD players. PS2 worked fine. So did a a normal DVD player. XBOX doesnt seem to like the layer change on that disc for some reason...

Shrug.
