will freaks and geeks ever make it to dvd?
Awhile back I saw a link for a petition and they were considering putting this great show on dvd has anyone heard anything about it since? I would love to have this set on dvd.

Probably not, and for the same reason many teen coming-of-age TV shows won't. Music rights.

Thousands of people signed a petition saying that they want it on DVD, so using the old "music rights" would be pretty dumb, as a DVD release would be cost-beneficial.

Go to the producers' website for the full scoop on the music rights issue and to sign the official petition (not the fan petition).
