(REQ) Metallica LIVE SH*T

I bought the new dvd release of LIVE SH*T but not liking the cd type case it comes in.
I want to keep the cd's in the case but would like to have the 2 dvd's in a REAL case.
Does anyone know of one already or can make one?

I am currently working on a cover but it's for the whole set so you will need a 5 disc case. I may be able to modify it for a 2 disc case however the insert I'm making is for the whole box. I'll post some previews in a few.

I would be very interested in a case for this as well. Either a standard size 2 disc case or a fatter style, either way.

Preferably just for the 2 DVD's, so I can keep the CDs' and DVD's in different locations!

Here is a preview of the cover. I'll post a pic of the insert when it gets closer to the final look.

Here is a preview of the insert. I'm gonna wait for some feedback before I do any more work on these.

They look great! If you decide to do one for just the DVD's let me us know, that is what I'm after.

Nice job!

The version I bought at Fred Meyer had a full DVD size slipcase type thing over it. I could scan that if you like.

Actually I've already done some work on the DVD version. How does this compare to the slipcase? I only have the cd size case with no slipcase. I didn't even know it came packaged like that or I would have bought it.

Actually I do have a slipcase but not one that is DVD size. Most of this stuff is coming from the original large VHS box.

I think your version looks way sweet though MuYa. Keep it up! Imma scan this one anyway though, and put it up here if anyone is interested.

Anyone have any suggestions on format? Should I save it as a Tiff or what? My scans always tend to be larger when technically they are the same dimensions as ones I get off of DVD cover sites.

Edit: anyone else notice the word Sh*t is edited on the cd case of the new version, but not the old one? I just noticed now hehe.

...or maybe not. My crappy scanner wants to make it look like crap so maybe I won't hehe.

Brian

is this set for a case a la Die Hard 5 star or Minority Report 2 discs?

either way looks great, when it's finished please post the full file up here so I can send it away to ChrisK's printing service! if you do a insert with the song titles (chapters) and such that would be awesome, and post that as well.

thanks, looks great!

Still working on getting the insert done. I've been working 12 hours shifts the past couple weeks so my time is kind if limited. It will be posted on dvdcoverart when it's finished.

In their defense, thats ALOT of bandwith they are providing! I'd rather pay a few bucks to have it rather than not have that site at all. And I believe you get free credits anyway for just signing up.
But yeah, eagerly awaiting Muya'a awesome covers!

Finally I am finished!!!!!!!!! I made a 2 and 5 disc version for Live ***** both with inserts. I also did 4 different covers plus an insert for St. Anger using the 4 different covers they were originally going to release. I have uploaded everything to dvdcoverart. It will probably be a few days before they get posted. Registration there is free plus you get 10 credits when you join. Hope you guys like them.
