Forget search, it's general rules we don't talk about the post counts.. but for the record I am second head cheese in that department.

What Jack said. Emphasizing post counts encourages people to pad, IMO, which wastes forum resources and costs Geoff money unnecessarily. So, most of us don't talk about them.
