Well, it's not as if the covers differ from one another too much... but, still, it's nice to see that progress is being made. Now give us a release date, dammit

Great, it took them 8 months to decide on Purple.

I think they put seasons 3-5 in there, that's why it took them a year to come out with it

I wish seasons 3-5 were in there! In a way I kind of wish they'd just be like Paramount and release like ten seasons in a year. The commentaries are nice but I've only listened to a few. I think I'd much rather have them all on disc than wait ten years for the commentaries.

Not a big fan on the purple either. But at least it's coming out. Hopefully before July.

I could care less if they came in a plain brown wrapper, as long as they come out more than once a year.

I like the purple, it's a nice variation from the first two seasons.. but still the same basic overall "look."

Shhh!! Don't say that out loud. You know that some Fox executive is reading that and saying to one of his cohorts "Uh oh, they don't like the purple. Back to the drawing board with this one."

I think it would have been cool if they had each release one shade off the last so that they contrasted perfectly in a row when the collection was complete. However

A. Who cares what color it is as long as it's finally here

and,

B. Even if they were similiar colors, who really thinks we will ever see all of them at this point on dvd. Certainly not if they keep this time frame up.

Makes you wonder what season will covet the YELLOW cover art!

So I guess this season's theme is "Get Bent".

Don't really like the cover that much. Then again, I really don't care. After season 2, the series enters its golden age (for at least seasons 3-7)...and I want these friggin' discs.

Although I wish they would come out more often than their current schedule, at least they come out at a rate I can afford. The Paramount Trek schedule of $80-$100 every other month makes for a big credit card bill.

If you go to or went to New York University (NYU) you learn to hate purple.

What the hek are the NYU Violets anyway? They wonder why none of us ever had any school spirit.

You have to realize that there is no chance these will ever be re-released on dvd ever, so if it takes 8 months or longer to make them perfect or close to perfection, then so be it.
