Tag: The Assassination Game, is it on DVD?

Does anyone know of the movie from around 1982 called "Tag: The Assassination Game " is on DVD? Even video would be cool just to see it. TBS use to run this all the time. I loved it as a kid. Maybe dumb now but would love to see it.

It is not out on DVD, but there was a Video Release, a long time ago. I lucked into buying a copy at a video store. Simply asked him if he's be interested in selling for $10...he said "Wait, let me check how many times it's rented in the last year"

He grimaced, and said sure...It's one of the ones I'm hoping makes it to DVD, but I just can't see it happening...

If you want more info on it, go to IMDB, and search for Linda Hamilton...you should find it in her Bio.

That was a damn fun movie, I hope it holds up to the test of time when/if it's released. I haven't seen it in years. I don't even know who owns the rights to this flick, there's minimal info on it at IMDB (all of the distributors listed are now defunct, I believe). I'm afraid it may be one of those movies that gets overlooked for DVD, like the fantastic "Get Crazy" with Malcolm McDowell. Shoot, there's another one I want on DVD NOW!

Great movie. I remember wanting to play this when I was in high school. But, you're right, no one would be able to get away with playing a game like this now. Somone would turn you in for being a terrorist.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with fond memories of this film. Isn't it a shame that they don't make fun films like that anymore? (most have to resort to vulgar or stupid humor)

...and don't get me started on those fun Movie-of-the-Week films of the 70's.
