Good lord you buy a lot of DVD's. May I ask how you afford this many DVD's on a regular basis? I buy a few every couple weeks and even that's a bit tough on the old wallet.

Nothing that's getting released Tue. Probably some more catalogs.

A mighty fine week indeed!

For me, despite how much I want the Miyazaki 3-pk, there is only one title for me:

The Singing Detective

Saw the first half of this thing nearly 17 years ago and never was able to finish it (the VCR didn't record as directed). Have never been able to find it except as a way overpriced VHS set. No reruns on TV, no laseridsc set....

But now, I can finally finish what at least started as probably the single greatest piece of made-for-television I have ever seen. I just hope the 3 remaining hours are as good as the first three were.

Now, somone please bring on the BBC version of Pennies from Heaven. Steve Martin is just no match for Bob Hoskins.
