newbie help please!!

hey guys...i hope you can help me. i read the stickys and they just confused me more...

i recently came into possession of about 40 dvds without the case. i'd like to know where i can get some cases for a reasonable price.
Also, i notice you guys are really into high quality covers. well, i don't have a scanner and i'm not too concerned with quality...is there any way i can just print a cover off the internet just to put in the cases?

any help would be appreciated!!

thanks!

You can get the cases from DV-Depot.com or from InetDVD.com. The covers you might need can be found at www.DVDCoverart.com. If there are some that arent on the site you can fill out a request form for them there as well.

Replacement cases on the cheap, on the net.

http://www.goldenromonline.com for muti-cases.

http://sleevetown.com for singles and more.

Both these are fare cheaper than the two sites mentioned above.

thanks for the info. i really appreciate it.
as far as the covers. i was checking dvdcoverart.com and saw really cool ones. i think i read somewhere in a post that you can download them and print them at kinkos. is this relatively cheap? and is there anything that i should know about doing this or any special way to do it?

once again, as a beginner i appreciate any help from you guys!!!

You may run into problems with Kinkos (or any other place like it) unless you go there and print them yourself and not tell them.

You can also purchase prints from DVD Cover Art.

I could probably print them for you cheaper than Kinkos. Check out my site.

Question about the "Add-a-Sleeves" at Sleeve City? I have some cases that are cheap (got them from the Dollar Tree), but they have a spindle just like an amaray case. Will these work with the "Add-a-Sleeve", or does my case need to be "Add-a-Sleeve" ready?

As an alternative, check out your local office supply stores. I found a 5-pack of DVD cases (Amaray style) for $4.99 at Office Max.
