I can remember Brandon Tartikoff ridiculing himself for this show on SNL. But yeah, I wanna see it, but I wanna see Whiz Kids more.

I saw it available at the Kansas City ComiCon a couple weeks ago, but doubt it was a legal set. I sure would be willing to buy an official set as well! Who owns the rights to this series?

Universal Studios owns the rights. I don't care about the series, but I would LOVE to see the initial tv-movie end up on DVD.

He also ridiculed himself for it during a cameo on Night Court, as I recall.

Harry Anderson: I'm going home to watch Misfits of Science.
Tartikoff: Ummm, we cancelled that one.
Anderson: Misfits of Science has been cancelled??!!

Something like that.

That show singled-handedly created my love for Chuck Berry.

A great show that I've thought about often over the years. Interesting that someone brought up Whiz Kids. There's a show that I also liked but haven't thought about at all.

Another vote for Misfits on DVD! I didn't have a TV at the time, and would always go over to a friends to catch this.

Is Whiz Kids the show about the teenage computer hackers?

I was trying to describe this show to my wife but couldn't remember the title. She didn't believe it existed.

Wow. I've been looking into getting the VHS's of the show for a long time, and have never heard anyone even mention it other than myself.

I would buy this in a second if it came out, but with all the TV shows out there, I would think this one will never see the light of day.
