I'm glad to get an uncut/unrated version (ala Van Wilder), but why release the R-Rated cut only in full frame? Do they think that the people who want the "tamer" version don't care about framing?

Very cool. I missed this one in theaters, byt an a huge Will Ferrell fan. Seems like a quick turn-around from theaters to dvd though. This was out the same time as Daredevil so maybe an announcement of a Daredevil dvd is not too far off.

I am glad to see that they are doing this DVD this way. I can understand the Widescreen in uncut and Fullframe in Rated, cause enthusiest like us know we are going to get the widescreen, and not many people buy the standard R rated one, the ones that do are usually parents that would buy full frame only. This was a really funny movie. I was hoping for a commentary with the three main guys, but oh well
edit: Yeah, I cant spell, I know

Maybe releasing it with more stuff in widescreen, people who don't realize the advantages of widescreen will finally understand that they get more(picture, and now extras) with wide.

It sounds like the R-rated version is just a contractual obligation to make sure the movie gets carried in Blockbuster. It seems to me that anyone actually interested in buying this would go for the unrated version automatically.

The R-rated version will only be available in full frame transfer.
I think studios should start releasing fool-screen versions as bare-bones.

Nice,.. I was hoping this would come in time for some summer drunken fun.
I agree with Sessa17. Will be one of the most watched.
Will be added to my "drunken party list" of: HalfBaked, Life of Brian, Office Space, etc.

This movie was hilarious, so it's a no-brainer for me. I also love Will Ferrell, so I will be picking up the unrated edition in June. Now I'm just waiting for my Office Space SE...
