I had to laugh when I saw this post, cause my dad starred in this 'disaster-piece'. Strangely enough, this film does have a minor cult following so I wouldn't be surprised to have it show up on DVD. Even my dad acknowledged that the movie was not his finest hour, but he was still proud of it. (He called it his Rocky Horror moment). A piece of trivia for anyone who cares: he wasn't acting when it came to his character's feeling for his wife. My dad hated this actress and would barely stand to be in the same room with her!

gah, selling for $60??? I sold mine years ago for about $5! I even had the original, oversized cardboard case. Sigh
I really liked this movie, although my reasons for purchasing it were rather dubious. When I was a teenager, I was too young to rent actual PORN, but the local video store didn't have any problem renting "R" rated flicks to under-17's. So, I would rent pretty much ANY horror movie that looked like it might have nudity in it. Ah, my misspent youth.
Still, I miss my copy of MM, and would definitely pick this up. Sounds like a natural for Anchor Bay.

I went and looked it up on IMDB. What a funny career move for the voice of Frosty the Snowman

Yeah, it was a strange career move for him. But honestly, being the voice of Frosty the Snowman was even stranger. He was such a stage comedian and TV personality that doing a kids holiday special was very strange for him. He wasn't even especially fond of Christmas. But what was really strange was that he really became to love the idea of being the voice of Frosty. He worked with all the greats from the 60's and 70's, but at the end of his career, Frosty was what he was most proud of.
(funny note...a friend came to a party once and brought an 'altered' version of Frosty as a joke to me. At one point in the tape he dubbed it so Frosty was saying dialogue from Microwave Massacre. Believe you, you haven't lived until you've heard Frosty the Snowman say, "I'm so hungry, I could eat a whore".

I would hope he was proud of Frosty. That's going to be shown on national tv at least once a year for who knows how long. Probably until they find out he was eating whores
Too cool to be immortalized like that.
