Which version of this film do you recommend and why? I'd prefer not to buy the tin-case version--there's no need to spend an extra $15 for marketing...unless someone convinces me that it's the best one.

There are 2 out there:

1.
Evil Dead 2

2.
Evil Dead II

The only difference between #2 and the tin is that the tin has a cheap booklet in it. Whatever you do, don't get #1. Get #2, or get the tin if you want to pay 10 extra dollars for a booklet.

You might want to check Best Buy for the tin if you have one near you. I was there tonight and they had several Evil Dead 2 tins, all priced at $19.99
