I love it
I don't have any complaints at all, except maybe the audio. But actually, I think the audio is fine.. it says 5.1 but it's really just sterio coming out of all the speakers, you get used to it. But, being as this is most likely the only version we'll ever get, it's worth getting if you're a transformers fan

if you are a fan of the Transformers, you might like this DVD! But this DVD has no trailers, commentary or extra goodies!! I'd rent it first !!The movie is also pan/scan on my 20" TV so I have to watch with black bars on the sides!! The sound and video are OK at least up to the G.I Joe: The Movie DVD!! I'd say it first or find it on sale!!Do'nt pay full MSRP on this DVD!! I hope this helps you!

yeah it is pretty bare bones, but there is an interview on it with the guy that did the music, it was kinda cool I guess. I woulda liked to see more but I get the idea that Rhino had a hard time getting the original folks involved to take part in anything with it
So, I'm just glad to have it at all at this point, it's a collectors item for me

I think I remember reading that this dvd wasn't widescreen because the movie was made to fit in regular tvs.. and the widescreen versions (like in the theatre) were all cropped to be that way
