Excellent however.......I sold my collector's edition and purchased the Canadian Edition which has everything including one more deleted scene and most importantly.....an anamorphic transfer!!!!
Check out http://www.totalactionuniverse.com
Believe I paid about $22 shipped for the Canadian version which was released by Alliance!!!!

I recommend getting the Canadian version as well. There will never be a need to replace that one.
My favorite Canadian dvd etailer is http://www.dvdboxoffice.com
relaible service, free shipping
I just checked their price for Good Will Hunting and it is 32.95 Canadian or 22.72 American. If I remember correctly they can only charge you the American price if you use a Visa, otherwise the Canadian price will be converted to U.S. dollars by whatever rate your credit card company is using

Between the Miramax Collector's and the Alliance Edition:
Is it the same transfer (except for Alliance being anamorphic)? And are the commentary tracks the same?
Just curious, especially about the transfer, as I don't have a widescreen tv at the moment.

As far as the transfer goes.....both transfers are very nice...if you do not care about the anamorphic transfer and are not planning on ever buying a widescreen set then I would stick with the American version which I did possess at one time until I purchased the Canadian edition!!!

Has anyone had any problems with the extra features menu of the Alliance edition of Good Will Hunting? When I select the TV spots, the screen freezes and goes all hinky -- I can press MENU and get out no problem, but is this a problem with all the discs?
