Ronin has a great anamorphic transfer on one side and a full screen transfer on the other side. I think it has English 5.1 and a French 5.1 audio tracks, an informative commentary track by John Frankenheimer and an alternate ending scene. A top-notch movie and disc all around.

code 2 has a making-of: Filming in the fast lane while code doesn't have.
i sold my code 1 version and bought code 2.

Atleast I don't remember ever flipping the DVD during the course of the movie. Anyway I would just get the R1 version, unless you already have the regionless/R2 player.

RONIN is not a flipper but a Double Layer 2-sided disc, and Code 2 is a Double Layer Single-sided disc.
