I'm looking for a site with reviews on adult DVDs. I am thinking of picking up a few, but I don't want to waste my time getting crap.

That site is currently down since the owners are in the process of moving from California to Maine. The interim servers that were supposed to be up crashed a couple of days ago, so it will probably be another day or two before the admins (who are driving cross-country) can fix whatever is wrong.

It's definitely not a joke...AdultDVDTalk's review database just passed 1000 consumer reviews last week. So if you can wait a few days, it's worth checking out. In the meantime, you can search the Internet Adult Film Database at http://www.rame.net or http://www.iafd.com. (Most of the reviews are VHS, but there are more and more DVD reviews being added; ADTalk is one of the DVD-focused sites that contribute reviews to the database)
