I just got one of those $20 rental cards at Blockbuster, so I have some rentals to use up. I rented The Art of War last night and thought it was absolutely terrible. Wesley Snipes is finally getting some respect after Blade, but what does he expect viewers to think of him after making this film? To my surprise however, it was one of the better-sounding DVDs I have ever watched (!). What do you guys think?

I haven't seen this yet. Can you be a little more specific about why it was bad?

Feel free to spoil it if you want.

Thanks.

Fhrx - #1 Westley Snipes sucks in the hero role - #2 Story sucked, it was your usual undercover agent gets blackmailed by the people he trusts, and has to clear his name crap (sound familiar ) - #3 Predictable & Simple

a few of us discussed this recently http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/002337.html and found opinions from fair to terrible. I was in the fair side of the argument but I'll probably watch it one more time and then eBay it.
