I bought Mein Kreig as a WWII buff interested in seeing a documentary of the war from a German perspective and this movie certainly delivered.
Showing "home movies" from 5 different German soldiers filmed mainly in the Russian campaign, this was an intriguing and riveting documentary. The attitudes of these soldiers regarding their participation in the war on the German side is also quite interesting.
Considering this was filmed over 50 years ago with amateur equipment, the footage was very good and the comments by the people who shot the film was well done. The movie touched on aspects of their feelings towards Germany, the Russians and a ground level view of the war from regular Wehrmacht soldiers.
I would recommend at least renting this if the subject matter interests you.
Audio is German Mono w/ English subtitles .. there are also no extras

Before somebody gets confused or canīt find the movie:
It's supposed to be "Mein Krieg" , not "Mein Kreig".
The last version simply doesnīt exist in german...
