Would also like a review of this.
I picked it up for $14 today at Circuit City.
Previews I saw for it looked intersting.

It's not high art, but I found it to be moderately entertaining with great cinematography. As for the DVD, it's a pretty great special edition for $12-15 dollars (retail is $19.99); audio and especially video quality are first rate, and there are quite a few extras.

I took a chance and bought it. It was a very interesting movie with repeated-viewing value.
Kate Hudson has a minor role in it and looks very cute. The acting is very good and the plot keeps things interesting. It is good campy fun, but the plot does really stretch reality a bit.
The filmmakers really play around with the visual style successfully. 5.1 soundtrack is great as well. Extra scenes are good and the alternate ending is really great. But thank god they didn't use it.
