Just got a copy, and I'm not sure If I'll keep it. (Still in the packaging.)

I don't know about you but I really love this film which is probably one of Bertolucci's best next to "The Conformist." It also has one of Brando's most memorable performances. It is a bit on the slow side. My only gripe about the DVD is that the transfer is no better than the Laserdisc.

I really liked this film....The cinematography and the scenes near the end in the dancehall are beautiful....Great.

Great movie. Very entertaining.

The Dance Hall scene (The Tango) is very very funny.
There are a couple of graphic sex scenes that are a bit to much. "Get the Butter" you might not want to watch it in mixed company.
It may not be a movie you will want to watch over again once youve seen it.

9 1/2 weeks is a total rip off of this movie and gives LTIP no credit.
