Few images turn heads faster than explosive building demolition footage. We watch, fascinated, as thousands of tons of man-made structure that took months to erect comes crashing down in mere seconds. Playing to our inherent fascination, producer Brent Blanchard has brought us the What a Blast Collection on DVD. This two-disc set combines What a Blast: Special Edition and What a Blast: Architecture in Motion. Both are also available separately.

The SE disc contains three documentary features. The AiM disc contains some additional "best of" footage as well as a 42 minute seamless music video (building demolition footage set to the music of Tangerine Dream).

Both discs feature DTS sound. See my full review HERE.

I have both of these discs for trade on the Exchange forum, if anyone is interested.
