If you like Harvey Keitel, he gives the best performance of his career, playing a N.Y. Detective investigating the rape of a Nun. Keitel is Catholic in the film having a gigantic faith crisis, which is being fueled by his gigantic addictions to drugs & gambling. This is a great film. It is, IMHO, also Abel Ferrera's best film. I agree with Tony. It has a great performance by Keitel. The story is very dark and bleak and is Abel's best movie. It's very gritty and can be disturbing to watch at times, but it has to be one of the better movies during the 90's.
