I was curious about the DVD version of this movie that just came out. Strangly enough I can't find any reviews on the web for one of the finest comedies ever made.

I have watched this DVD a couple of times already and did not have a problem with it. Reasonably sharp picture, no artifacts, decent transfer.

I remember seeing this as a double feature with the Rocketter - and it's maybe the fifth movie in my life i ever walked out on.

I bought this DVD since it is a great comedy. It is a shame it isn't anamorphic widescreen, only has 2.0 Dolby Surround, and just a trailer. The good news is that the picture is sharp, and the movie is dialogue driven, so the 2.0 Dolby Surround is adequate.

What About Bob? is one of Bill's more underrated comedies. Richard Dreyfuss is also outstanding ... I usually don't like him (well, other than Jaws), but he was perfectly cast. I highly recommend the movie.

By far one of Billy Murray's funniest films, right up there with Ground Hog day.
