This movie bombed in theaters but I decided to rent it out of curiousity about cannabalism. I was very impressed with the story and the dvd itself. The disc includes 3 audio commentaries as well as stills and deleted scenes. I'd recommend this if you're looking for something different to rent. Even though it's not 16X9 (thanks Fox! ), I will certainly purchase this in the near future because of the movie itself.

too bad the MSRP is $35 for a movie that bombed in the theatre. Then again Halloween H20 is listed at $40.

Was that movie wierd or what???? I did think the acting was great though. They really put the emphasis on cannabilism in this one. I might get it in the future if i find it cheap!

Rented "Ravenous" over the weekend. Definitely not your average mainstream movie. A really weird story. "Dracula" meets "The Silence Of The Lambs" with a touch of "Little Big Man" thrown in. If you haven't seen it yet, give this movie at least a rental. Or better yet, buy it.

I cant get that crazy music soundtrack out of my head! It fit the movie perfectly.

Yeah, i loved Ravenous. And 2.5 commentary tracks really help you appreciate the work that went into this underappreciated film. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I got this movie cheap from reel, and although i enjoyed it the first time through, i dont think it is anything i want to watch again unless mabye for one of the commentaries.

i sure did like the music though, especially during the part where Boyd is walking back from the cave to the fort, i dont know it just sounded really cool to me.

Also its nice to see a Fox disc with this many extras (deleted scenes-commentaries-photos and stuff). Ok so i started this post to complain about the movie but now im thinking it is one of my better discs.
go figure

i must be one of the few people on this forum who thought that this movie blew. it is just awful.

it starts out like it wants to be a horror comedy, then goes straight horror action & then just gets boring. the music was horrible & i thought that it never matched what was happening onscreen correctly.

this is just a bad movie all around & i can see why it quickly tanked at the box office.

I didn't really like this movie either. The music really detracted from the movie for me. Definitely one of the few rentals I've gotten in the past 6 months that I have regretted

I totally did not like this film. It really seemed to drag for me.
