DVD Talk Special Edition
At times the picture quality is OK, but for the most part the black levels on the disc are really fu**ked up. I don't know how to describe it but lets just say that parts of the image which should be dark and shadowy, are nothing more than a black blob.
All in all I am still able to enjoy the film, and it looks a hell of a lot better than the old VHS tape I had, But looking at Anchor Bays current trend of remastering many of their older titles, I would probably wait and hope for something better.

zombie was the user who bombarded all of the forums with gratuitous Anchor Bay plugs about a month ago. I bitched and he got booted, and since the forums have been a much nicer place.
I give zombie two thumbs down.
Incidentally, this forum is for movie reviews

If you MUST see it now, get the LD. It was pressed by Elite, and it has the same stuff as the poor AB DVD, but the picture is better. If you cant wait, then I recommend the LD.
