I haven't seen the disc, but I've read a LOT about it. Basically, it's been heavily censored from its Japanese release - about 10 minutes cut out (of a 60-minute movie!) It sounds like a great flick, but I don't want to sponsor this kind of political-correctness bunk, so I skipped it.
Many reviewers claim the removed footage - mostly sex scenes - bogged down the movie, and that it's just as good without them. However, many other reviewers claim the removed scenes revealed a lot about the characters, and even some major plot points have been truncated or removed.
There's a petition floating around somewhere (overshadowed now by the Mononoke petition, I'd guess) to have the disc restored. Check www.animeondvd.com for more info.
